What are the benefits of Browlift Surgery?
This procedure, done via incisions hidden above the eyebrows, can elevate more of the lateral brow than the Endoscopic method. Dr. Gross uses this method for patients with heavy brows and for mostly in men.
What does the procedure do?
This out patient procedure lifts drooping eyebrows, removes hooding over eyes, and tightens and lifts the sagging eyebrows. It opens the upper eyelid area for better vision as well.
How long will this take?
Approximately 1.5 hour in our Approved surgery center at Primera, located in Lake Mary (Orlando).
What type of anesthesia do you use?
We require general anesthesia for this procedure.
Is this an outpatient procedure?
Yes, this is an outpatient procedure at Primera Surgery Center.
What are the common side effects?
Temporary swelling, numbness, headache, bruising. Traditional method: Possible scalp itching and hair loss.
What are the risks?
Injury to facial nerve, muscle weakness, or asymmetrical look. Infection. Broad or excessive scarring. Eyebrow asymmetry.
How long is the recovery time?
Back to work: 7 to 10 days. More strenuous activity: several weeks. Full recovery from swelling or bruising: 2 weeks. Limit sun exposure for several months.
How long will I enjoy my results?
