Minimize deeper acne scarring, chicken pox scars of the face.

How long does this procedure take?
1 hour for full face

What type of anesthesia do you use?
We use general anesthesia for this procedure.

Is this an outpatient or inpatient procedure?
The dermabrasion procedure is an outpatient at Primera Surgery Center.

What are the side effects and risks?
The side effects are pinkness, sun sensitivity, infection (rare) and the risks are scarring, pigmentation changes, need for additional treatment (common).

How long is the recovery time?
7-10 days.
