Success, Visualized: The Power of Computer Imaging

Deciding to undergo a plastic surgery procedure is a big leap of faith. You’re trusting a surgeon to interpret your aesthetic goals, then draw from his or her surgical expertise to produce a (hopefully) stunning result. I’m proud to earn that trust with my rhinoplasty and facelift patients every single day here at our Orlando practice — but I also want to do everything I can to give my patients even more peace of mind.

That’s why I feel so strongly about offering computer imaging to my patients. It’s a way to supplement my expert opinion of their ideal outcome with something tangible and concrete. In a way, we’re collaborating on the “after” before the surgery, so patients feel like they have more of a say in their eventual result.

I offer computer imaging for a range of procedures, including rhinoplasty, chin augmentation, eyelid surgery, blepharoplasty, and others. It often gives patients a real “wow” moment, and I find that it provides that level of reassurance they need to really get excited about their procedure.

Computer imaging is especially powerful for my facelift and mini lift patients. It can be difficult for both my patients and I to fully articulate what the final result will look like, and computer imaging really shifts the conversation to a place of confidence and anticipation for the day of surgery.

It sounds strange to say that imaging technology is a way to humanize procedures for our patients, but that’s exactly what it does. It all comes back to the experience my staff and I want to offer at Primera Surgical Center, Salon & Spa. This is a warm and inviting place, and above all, we want our patients to feel informed and comfortable, every step of the way. Using technology to conceptualize potential results is one more way we can do that.
