Pulsed Dye Laser (Candela V-Beam) Before & After Case 344

PDL ( Pulse Dye Laser) is the gold standard for removing face and nasal veins. Generally 3-4 Tx's are needed to remove these annoying vessels, also called telangiectasia's, which begin to appear in the 30's , especially in lighter skinned patients (Fitzpatrick I and II). No anesthesia is required and the laser is considered a 'cool touch' laser . A puff of Freon comes out of the laser to cool the skin during therapy. We can treat as young as age 12 and also treat Port Wine stains from birth.  Primera uses the Candela V-Beam Perfecta which is the latest advance in laser technology. This patient developed the broken blood vessels following skin cancer reconstruction. Dr. Gross lasered the area to improve appearance.
