About LATISSE

LATISSE is a prescription topical medication used for the treatment of hypotrichosis (insufficient eyelashes). You apply LATISSE yourself to the base of the upper eyelashes each evening.

If you are using, or have used, prescription products for eye pressure problems, only use LATISSE under close doctor care. Apply LATISSE only to the base of the upper eyelashes – not to the lower eyelid.

LATISSE may cause increased brown pigmentation of the iris, which may be permanent. Eyelid skin darkening can occur but may be reversible. Hair growth may occur in other areas frequently touched by LATISSE.

If you develop or experience any eye problems or have eye surgery, consult your doctor immediately about the continued use of LATISSE. The most common side effects after using LATISSE solution are itchy eyes and redness. If you discontinue use of LATISSE, your lashes will gradually return to their original appearance.

“LATISSE is believed to affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle in 2 ways: first, it increases the length of this phase; and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase. On average, results can be seen 3 weeks after starting treatment.”
