Read Patient StoriesA special treatment in more than one aspect, RADIESSE is made of extremely small calcium microspheres suspended in a water-based gel. As Dr. Gross injects RADIESSE, the microspheres form a platform beneath the skin, stimulating collagen production and encouraging tissue growth in the injection area. These simple treatments can be completed in as little as a few minutes.
At Primera, we mix RADIESSE with a local anesthetic called lidocaine. As a result, most patients experience little or no discomfort. However, we can also apply topical numbing cream if necessary. After making the injections, the treated area is gently massaged to ensure even results.
Dr. Gross may use a combination of fillers to maximize the results for each individual. These may include JUVÉDERM® or Restylane®. For many Orlando men and women, RADIESSE can also complement wrinkle-reducing treatments such as BOTOX® Cosmetic.
RADIESSE is a simple, non-surgical treatment that requires no downtime. Results can last as long as 1 to 2 years, although experiences vary.
Many patients experience bruising, swelling, stinging, or redness as a result of their RADIESSE treatment. You may feel some tenderness for a few days after your injection. All of these potential side effects are temporary.
